The national youth centers carry out training programs to support the social reinforcement services. The Ministry of education and culture support social empowerment through e.g. youth workshop activities, outreach youth work and Nuotta training. These services have a same target group and form an interrelated combination.
Youth centre Anjala organizes training programs to improve the life management skills of young people. The target group is youth between 13-29 years, either outside labour market or education system or in danger to be marginalized. The co-operating instructors are also involved in the training.
The expertise of the national Youth Centres in experiential and action-based pedagogy is vital in the training. Nuotta training relies on volunteerism, practical applications, a participatory spirit and community. The training focuses specially on activities that bring experiences of succeeding in something to the participants.
